We would like to announce that as of December 1, 2009 , we have hired a new professional team in order to continue to provide quality repair and service to all of our customers!

MANFRED SENFTLEBEN (MANAGER):  Our new manager, Manfred Senftleben, was  born and professionally trained in Germany, with 41 years of experience in German Auto Repair.  He has worked at various German Auto Dealerships in Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Van Nuys and Encino, where he was a Shop Foreman at the renowned Auto Stiegler.  He holds a Master Technician status from Mercedes Benz of North America.

STEPHEN COX (ASST MANAGER):  Also joining our professional team is Stephen Cox who will be the assistant manager to Manfred.  Stephen formerly managed Aamco Transmission.

CARLOS ALVAREZ (TECHNICIAN):  As a Certified Auto Technician by Mercedez Bens of North America, we are proud to have Carlos Alvarez who has 26 years of professional experience in gasoline and diesel engines and transmissions.  Carlos also holds a license in Air Conditioning.

HISTORY:

German Auto was founded in 1965 when it was operated by German Max Bolt.  Then, in 1967, German Gerhard Hollatz, factory trained in Germany, became the owner and operator of the business for over 30 years.  Then, in 1999, Mr. Hollatz retired and the shop was operated by Manfred Senftleben, also factory trained in Germany.  Later, the shop was operated by German Emil Uzler, also factory trained in Germany and sent by the factory in Germany to the US to work for Mercedes Benz of Encino.  As you can see, German Auto has a proud and lengthy tradition of hiring the best German managers to provide knowledgeable and valuable services to our customers.
